Clean Sweep for PoW Honors

Leesburg, Fla. – After taking 2 out of 3 selections last week, the Lake-Sumter volleyball program earned a sweep across of the board on Tuesday when Players of the Week were announced.

Xiomara Williams and Kayla Chambliss earned their second consecutive award this week and were joined by teammate, Macey McGinnis who got her first selection.

The Lakehawks are coming off a big win last week in which they knocked off No. 17 St. John's River State College to open up conference play, 1-0.

Volleyball will be back in action Saturday in a tri-match against Gulf Coast State College at 10 am and Santa Fe College at 3 pm.
