Lakehawk Golf Makes Strong Showing at Le Moyne Invitational
ORLANDO, Fla. (Women's Golf) – The Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) women's golf team completed the single-day 36-hole Le Morne Spring Invitational on Monday evening hosted at Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.
Wies Bouwma had a strong finish posting an 83 and 84 to finish 13th in a field of 40 players. Bouwma currently ranks 14th nationally as an individual.
Annabelle Roy shot 110-104 for 36th place. Johanna Hanneken was the most improved player shooting 14 strokes lower in round two.
The Lakehawks will take several weeks to train until the end of March for the Lady Road Runner Spring Invitational at Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta, Ga.
