LEESBURG, Fla. (Athletics) – Lakehawk Athletics has not one but two student-athlete highlight in today's #WingsUp Weekly! Jacob James (Baseball) and Tripp Watkins (Men's Golf) both delivered outstanding performances to earn Player of the Week honors.
Baseball
- Jacob James takes home FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors after his performance on the mound last week.
- Baseball is coming off a 4–2 non-conference victory over Eastern Florida on Tuesday, bringing the team's season record to 12–13.
- The team returns to Sun-Lakes Conference play this weekend against St. Johns River State College.

Beach Volleyball
- Beach returns to action March 6 at Palm Beach State College.

- Saturday at New College of Florida, 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Men's and Women's Golf
- Tripp Watkins placed third individually in his last tournament, earning FCSAA Men's Golfer of the Month honors.
- The women return to action March 9 in Orlando.
Softball
- Softball came in at No. 22 in this week's NJCAA Division II regular-season poll.
- The team swept a DH against Oakland Community College on Tuesday to improve to 18–8 on the season.
- It's back to Sun-Lakes Conference play this weekend against South Florida State College.

- Saturday vs. South Florida State College, 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Men's and Women's Track & Field
- Both outdoor track & field teams open their seasons this Saturday in Daytona Beach at the Eagle Invite, hosted by Embry-Riddle.
- The teams are set to compete in 17 of 30 events.
