LEESBURG, Fla. (Athletics) – Baseball is sending the ball over the fence at a program-record-setting pace, while Beach Volleyball picked up a couple of wins and Softball continues to swipe bases left and right. All of that and more in this week's edition of #WingsUp Weekly!
Baseball
- After a walk-off grand slam on Monday, the Lakehawks fell to Santa Fe College on Tuesday, 9-7
- The team's 20 home runs this season rank second in the NJCAA.
- Sun-Lakes Conference play opens for the Lakehawks this week!
- Friday at Florida State College – Jacksonville (FSCJ), 1:00 p.m.
- Saturday double header vs. FSCJ, 12:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Beach Volleyball
- The team has hosted two tri-matches so far this season and sits at 3–1 on the year.
- Wednesday, the team hosts St. Johns River State College. Those results will be posted to the website and our social media outlets as soon as the match is complete.
- Beach will be the second team to head north to Jacksonville to take on FSCJ in a tri-match this weekend.

- Friday vs. State College of Florida, 2:00 p.m.
Softball
- Softball swept Tallahassee State College on Saturday in its doubleheader with scores of 9–3 and 7–6.
- The team traveled to Tampa to finish its four-game series with Hillsborough Community College and came away with two victories, moving its season record to 15–3.
- It will be a busy weekend for the Lakehawks in Jacksonville, with softball heading to FSCJ on Saturday after a double header at home on Friday.
