LEESBURG, Fla. (Athletics) – Women's golf tops this week's highlights as Wies Bouwma comes through with the best single performance in the program's young history. Lakehawk Athletics has a lot of road warriors this week, with home contests at a minimum.
Baseball
- A split with Polk State College over the weekend moved baseball to a 6–5 record.
- The Lakehawks hosted Seminole State College on Tuesday, with the game ending in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the ninth on a home run from Noah Morales.
- Baseball will head north and take a left turn for a three-game set in Tallahassee.

- Friday vs. Tallahassee State College (TSC), 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday vs. Tallahassee State College,10:00 a.m.
- Saturday vs. South Georgia State College, 1:00 p.m.
Beach Volleyball
- Beach Volleyball will host Webber International and Barry University for a Valentine's Day tri-match at the Lake Jem Farms Beach Court Complex on Saturday.
- Beach is coming off a 1–1 opening day split and will get started Saturday with Webber at 10:00 a.m., followed by Barry at 2:00 p.m.
Women's Golf
- Wies Bouwma played some of the best golf of her career Monday and Tuesday at the Florida Gateway Spring Invitational.
- The freshman finished second overall with a tournament total of +13, which ranks 13th nationally out of 200 competitors.
- Women's golf will head to Gaffney, SC, with men's golf at the end of the month for the Pioneers Invitational
Men's & Women's Indoor Track
- The final indoor meet of the season produced some big results.
- Jaden Miller placed second in the long jump and is currently ranked seventh nationally.
- Amaya Mitchell finished sixth overall in the high jump and now ranks 14th in the nation.
- Mark Fyffe came in second in the long jump, with teammate Jeremiah Wiley finishing sixth
Softball
- A four-game sweep of Polk State College between Thursday and Tuesday moves the team's record to 11–3 on the season.
- One week removed from earning Pitcher of the Week honors, Emmy Lee took home Player of the Week after hitting .571 with a go-ahead grand slam against Seminole State.
- Softball will also head to Tallahassee for a doubleheader on Saturday against TSC at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
